Alexa Grasso to Face Randa Markos at UFC Fight Night 114 in Mexico City

A strawweight duel pitting Alexa Grasso against Randa Markos has been added to the UFC Fight Night 114 lineup.

The Las Vegas-based promotion announced the pairing on Wednesday. UFC Fight Night 114 takes place on Aug. 5 at Mexico City Arena in Mexico City and is headlined by a flyweight showdown between Sergio Pettis and Brandon Moreno.

Grasso, 23, began her professional career with nine consecutive victories, including a three-round verdict over Heather Clark in her Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night 98. The Guadalajara native tasted defeat for the first time at UFC Fight Night 104 on Feb. 4, when she suffered a unanimous decision loss to Felice Herrig.

Markos is 3-3 in her Octagon tenure thus far. The 31-year-old Canadian last appeared at UFC Fight Night 105, where she captured a split-decision triumph against Carla Esparza.
