A women’s bantamweight bout pitting Alexis Dufresne against Marion Reneau has been added to UFC 182 on Jan. 3.
Ultimate Fighting Championship officials announced the pairing on Thursday. The pay-per-view card features a light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier, as well as Donald Cerrone taking on the undefeated Myles Jury at lightweight.
Dufresne will be making her second UFC appearance. She lost a controversial unanimous decision to Sarah Moras in her debut at “The Ultimate Fighter 19” finale in July. The defeat is “Sneaky Zebra’s” lone blemish in six outings; her five wins have all come inside the distance.
Reneau will enter the UFC riding a three-fight winning streak, most recently submitting Maureen Riordon at RFA 16. “The Brusier” is 4-1 as a professional, with three triumphs via knockout and one by way of submission.
