After a one-bout stint at strawweight, Amber Brown will return to 105 pounds to face Ashley Cummins at Invicta FC 22 (offshore sportsbooks).
The all-female promotion revealed the final two fights for the completed eight-bout card on Thursday. In addition to Brown-Cummins, a featherweight clash pitting Felicia Spencer against Madison McElhaney was also announced. Invicta FC 22 takes place at the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo., on March 25 and is headlined by a bantamweight title rematch between Tonya Evinger and Yana Kunitskaya. The card will stream in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass.
Brown came up short in her first 115-pound foray, as she was submitted by Ashley Yoder in the second-round at Invicta FC 20. Prior to that defeat, “The Bully” tapped to an Ayaka Hamasaki armbar in the third round of their atomweight title tilt at Invicta FC 16. The FIT-NHB representative began her Invicta FC tenure with three consecutive victories.
Cummins, meanwhile, has faced a murderer’s row of competition in the Invicta cage, dropping a trio of fights to UFC veterans Alexa Grasso, Emily Kagan and Joanne Calderwood in her last three promotional appearances. Most recently, “Smashley” halted that skid with a victory over Nikki Smith at Bellator 157 this past June.
