American talent Andrew Leone will step in for Yasuhiro Urushitani to compete in the One FC 10 headliner against Shinichi Kojima.
One FC 10 takes place Sept. 13 at Istora Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia, and will also see former lightweight champion Kotetsu Boku take on muay Thai specialist Vuyisile Colossa, while undefeated American wrestler Jake Butler battles James Kouame. The evening’s main card streams via online pay-per-view at onefc.livesport.tv. Immediately prior, the show’s two-fight undercard will be shown live and for free on Sherdog.com.
An eight-fight pro, Leone has won six of his last seven contests, posting a 3-1 record last year. Though the American was defeated in his second appearance with South Korean promotion Road FC, he responded with a victory in his One FC debut this past May, outpointing Geje Eustaquio at “Rise to Power.”
Regarded by many as the sport’s premier flyweight during his time as Shooto world champion, Kojima has gone 3-1 since suffering a non-title defeat to Jussier da Silva and vacating the belt in 2009. “BJ” returned to action in 2011, going 2-1 in the Shooto ring before making his One FC debut this past February, when he took a unanimous decision from URCC champion Rey Docyogen at One FC 7.
