Andy Ristie will challenge Robin van Roosmalen in the main event of Glory 20 for the kickboxing promotion’s lightweight title.
Glory officials announced the bout on Monday. The card will take place at Dubai World Trade Centre on April 3 and features a co-main event between former Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight Pat Barry and Mourad Bouzidi.
Ristie (44-4-1, 24 KOs) is coming off an impressive finish of Steve Moxon at Glory 19 in Virginia. Ristie has previously beaten van Roosmalen, when the two fought in the final of the lightweight tournament at Glory 12 in 2013. Ristie ended the fight via knockout in the second round.
The incumbent champion, van Roosmalen (33-6, 19 KOs) defeated Davit Kiria via unanimous at Glory 14 to claim the title. Glory 20 will be the ninth event that the Dutch competitor has laced up the gloves for the promotion.
