The UFC on Tuesday announced the five-bout lineup for the card, which will take place on July 18 at The Ultimate Fighter Gym in Las Vegas and streams on UFC Fight Pass at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
Four other bouts were announced for the upcoming card: Alfred Khashakyan vs. Sean O’Malley; Thanh Le vs. Lazar Stojadinovic; Michael Cora vs. Sidney Outlaw and C.J. Hamilton vs. Casey Kenney.
DeAnda, 32, enters the matchup on a six-fight winning streak. The Modesto, Calif., native last appeared at Tachi Palace Fights 31, where he scored a first-round TKO win over Mike Morales on May 18. “The Dream” is 18-5 as a professional, with 14 victories coming via knockout or technical knockout.
Spohn, meanwhile, has been victorious in seven of his last eight appearances. “Dragon” notably went 1-3 during a brief stint in Bellator and also appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter 19” before losing to Patrick Walsh at the show’s finale in July 2014. He owns a 15-5 career mark with 10 triumphs inside the distance.
