Angela Lee to Defend Atomweight Title at One ‘Warrior Kingdom’ on March 11
Rising star Angela Lee will defend her One Championship atomweight strap against Jenny Huang on March 11, the Singapore-based promotion recently announced.

The unbeaten Lee is coming off a 2016 “Fight of the Year” contender in which she captured a five-round verdict over Mei Yamaguchi at One Championship 42 on May 6. She is 6-0 under the One Championship banner, with all but one of her triumphs coming by submission.
“I am so excited for my first title defense. I had back to back fights leading up to the title fight, and after I won the belt I took some time off,” Lee said in a release. “The goal for 2017 is to be an active champion and to stay busy.”
A native of Taiwan, Huang enters the matchup with a 5-0 professional mark. Most recently, the 25-year-old submitted April Osenio with a gogoplata 4:28 into the second round of their encounter at One Championship “Age of Domination” on Dec. 2.
