The bout will take place at One “Warrior Kingdom” at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
The unbeaten Lee is coming off a 2016 “Fight of the Year” contender in which she captured a five-round verdict over Mei Yamaguchi at One Championship 42 on May 6. She is 6-0 under the One Championship banner, with all but one of her triumphs coming by submission.
“I am so excited for my first title defense. I had back to back fights leading up to the title fight, and after I won the belt I took some time off,” Lee said in a release. “The goal for 2017 is to be an active champion and to stay busy.”
A native of Taiwan, Huang enters the matchup with a 5-0 professional mark. Most recently, the 25-year-old submitted April Osenio with a gogoplata 4:28 into the second round of their encounter at One Championship “Age of Domination” on Dec. 2.
