Anthony Johnson is out of a UFC on Fox 20 co-headlining matchup with Glover Texieira.

Multiple outlets confirmed Johnson’s exit on Saturday following an initial report from MMAFighting.com. The cause of Johnson’s withdrawal was not disclosed, and the UFC has not formally announced a replacement opponent for Teixeira.

UFC on Fox 20 takes place at the United Center in Chicago on July 23 and is headlined by a bantamweight showdown between Holly Holm and Valentina Shevchenko. The evening’s main card will be televised on the Fox Network.

After losing to Daniel Cormier via third-round submission in a light heavyweight title bout at UFC 187, Johnson has rebounded to score knockout triumphs over Jimi Manuwa and Ryan Bader in his last two Octagon appearances. “Rumble” has won 11 of his last 12 fights overall.

Teixeira, meanwhile, has won three straight, finishing Rashad Evans, Patrick Cummins and Ovince St. Preux to bounce back from consecutive losses to Phil Davis and Jon Jones in 2014. The 36-year-old Brazilian is 8-2 during his promotional tenure.
