A light heavyweight showdown between Anthony Perosh and Ryan Bader has been booked for the UFC’s next trip to Australia.
Perosh, 41, has won four of his last five fights, with a seven-second knockout to Ryan Jimmo last year serving as his only loss in that span. “The Hippo” then returned to action this past August, scoring a 14-second knockout over the favored Vinny Magalhaes at UFC 163.
Eleven years the junior of his upcoming opponent, Bader has lost two of his last three fights, most recently falling by knockout to Glover Teixeira on Sept. 4. Prior to that defeat, “Darth” kicked off 2013 with a quick submission win over current Bellator talent Vladimir Matyushenko, tapping the former International Fight League champion with a guillotine choke in just 50 seconds this past January.
