Artem Lobov to Face Zubaira Tukhugov at UFC Fight Night 138 in Moncton

Conor McGregor training partner Artem Lobov will lock horns with Zubaira Tukhugov at UFC Fight Night 138 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada on Oct. 27.

Promotion officials confirmed the featherweight pairing on Monday. UFC Fight Night 138 takes place at SMG Moncton and is headlined by a light heavyweight duel between Volkan Oezdemir and Anthony Smith. The evening’s main card will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

Lobov is coming off an 0-2 campaign in 2017 after dropping back-to-back decisions at the hands of Cub Swanson and Andre Fili. The SBG Ireland representative is 2-4 within the Las Vegas-based promotion and 13-14-1 with one no contest as a professional overall.

Tukhugov, meanwhile, had a nine-fight winning streak snapped in his most recent outing, as he lost a split verdict against Renato Carneiro at UFC 198 in May 2016. The 27-year-old Russian began his Octagon tenure with triumphs over Douglas Silva de Andrade, Ernest Chavez and Phillipe Nover.
