Five-time Invicta Fighting Championships veteran Aspen Ladd will make her first Octagon foray against Lina Lansberg at UFC Fight Night 118.
Promotion officials announced the pairing on Tuesday. UFC Fight Night 118 takes place on at Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland, on Oct. 21 and is headlined by a welterweight duel between Donald Cerrone and Darren Till. The card will air in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass.
The 22-year-old Ladd made her professional debut with Invicta in February 2015 and has compiled a 5-0 mark with the all-female organization. Most recently, the California native outpointed Sijara Eubanks at Invicta FC 21 on Jan. 14. Ladd was slated to face Jessica Eye at “The Ultimate Fighter 25” finale in July but was forced to withdraw due to illness on the day of the bout.
Lansberg made her Octagon debut on short-notice at UFC Fight Night 95, falling to current featherweight queen Cristiane Justino via second-round technical knockout. She rebounded in her sophomore outing, taking a three-round verdict over Lucie Pudilova at UFC Fight Night 107 on March 18.
