Aussie Kyle Noke Meets Fellow Welterweight Seth Baczynski at UFC on FX 6

Kyle Noke will once again fight Down Under for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, as the Aussie has been booked to face fellow welterweight Seth Baczynski at UFC on FX 6.

The event airs live on Dec. 14 in the United States and also serves as the season finale for “The Ultimate Fighter: Australia vs. U.K.” Coaches Ross Pearson and George Sotiropoulos are expected to collide in the evening’s headliner, while the show’s finalists will do battle earlier in the evening to decide both the lightweight and welterweight season winners. UFC on FX 6 takes place at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Gold Coast, Australia, and will also see former Bellator champion Hector Lombard collide with leg lock specialist Rousimar Palhares in the co-main event.

Noke, 32, was victorious in his welterweight debut just over two weeks ago at UFC 152, earning a technical knockout over Charlie Brenneman. The win snapped a two-fight skid for “KO,” as Noke was bested by Ed Herman and Andrew Craig in his last two middleweight appearances prior to making the cut to 170 pounds.

Baczynski, 30, rides a six-fight winning streak into his clash with Noke. “The Polish Pistola” posted three victories last year and has already earned another pair of wins to kick off 2012, edging Lance Benoist in a split decision on June 8 before knocking out Simeon Thoresen with a sharp counter left hook that relieved the Norwegian of his consciousness in the first round of their UFC 152 meeting.
