Bader-Jardine Booked for UFC 110

Jardine and Ryan Bader
will meet in a light heavyweight bout at UFC 110 on Feb. 21 at the
Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia, Sherdog.com has confirmed with a
source close to the bout.
MMAWeekly.com was the first to report the bout on Monday.
Jardine, a senior fighter at Greg Jackson’s New Mexico academy, has suffered back-to-back losses to Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (at UFC 96) and Thiago Silva, who stopped Jardine with first-round punches at UFC 102 last August. Jardine’s last victory came against Brandon Vera at UFC 89 in October 2008. Jardine and Vera traded kicks in a back-and-forth bout that earned Jardine a split decision.
The undefeated Bader won the eighth season of “The Ultimate Fighter” on Spike TV. A two-time Div. I All-American wrestler for Arizona State University, the 26-year-old Bader earned a unanimous decision over Eric Schafer at UFC 104 last October.
