Bryan Caraway will face Cody Stamann in a bantamweight bout at UFC 222.
The promotion confirmed the matchup to the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Wednesday evening. UFC 222 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on March 3 and is headlined by a featherweight championship tilt between Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar.
Caraway has won four of his last five in the Octagon, but he did not compete at all in 2017. He last appeared at UFC Fight Night 88 on May 29, 2016, when he captured a split decision over Aljamain Sterling. The Xtreme Couture representative is 6-2 during his promotional tenure and 21-7 as a professional overall.
Stamann, meanwhile, has kicked off his UFC career with a unanimous verdict over Terrion Ware and a split-decision triumph against highly-touted prospect Tom Duquesnoy. The 28-year-old Wayne, Mich., native has won nine fights in a row and owns a 16-1 career mark.
