A flyweight title bout between Barb Honchak and Takayo Hashi will top the Invicta Fighting Championships 9 lineup.
The promotion on Tuesday announced the full 10-bout card, which will stream on UFC Fight Pass from The RiverCenter in Davenport, Iowa, on Nov. 1. A strawweight showdown between Jewels champ Mizuki Inoue and unbeaten Karolina Kowalkiewicz will serve as the evening’s co-main event.
Honchak, who is 4-0 under the Invicta FC banner, captured the promotion’s vacant 125-pound belt with a five-round verdict over Vanessa Porto at Invicta FC 5. The 35-year-old Missouri native successfully defended the strap by outpointing Leslie Smith this past December.
After winning 13 of her first 14 pro bouts, Hashi has been victorious in just two of her last six outings. However, the 36-year-old has stepped up in competition, losing to the likes of Sarah Kaufman, Tara LaRosa and Cat Zingano while posting a victory over “TUF 18” veteran Roxanne Modafferi. Ten of Hashi’s 15 career triumphs have come by way of decision.
