Belcher-Gouveia On for UFC 107

Gouveia have verbally agreed to meet in a middleweight bout at
UFC 107 on Dec. 12 in Memphis, Tenn.
MMAWeekly.com was the first to report the bout on Friday. Sherdog.com has also confirmed the matchup with sources close to negotiations.
Belcher lost a close split decision to Japanese star Yoshihiro Akiyama at UFC 100 last July, though the 24-year-old Arkansas native has acquitted himself well in the Octagon with victories against Denis Kang, Ed Herman, Kalib Starnes and others.
American Top Team’s Gouveia is also on the rebound following a third-round technical knockout loss to Nate Marquardt at UFC 95 last February in London. Gouveia’s aggressive come-forward style has banked him six wins in his nine Octagon appearances, including victories over Jason MacDonald and Ryan Jensen.
