Bellator’s Season 10 welterweight tournament received a shakeup on Saturday, when Bellator MMA officials announced that War Machine, Joe Riggs and Mark Scanlon have all withdrawn from the competition.
The evening’s main draw airs live on Spike TV and is headlined by a featherweight title rematch pitting Daniel Straus against Pat Curran.
The two remaining welterweight quarterfinals were also altered by Bellator officials on Saturday. Instead of facing Jesse Juarez, former title challenger Andrey Koreshkov will now meet UFC veteran Nah-Shon Burrell in the round of eight, while Juarez takes on Adam McDonough to kick off the televised card.
