A bantamweight matchup pitting Rafael Silva against Robert Emerson has joined the televised main card of Bellator 127.

Promotion officials Monday announced the addition of the bout to the company’s Oct. 3 event at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif.

Brazil’s Silva had a 13-fight winning streak snapped in his last outing when he came up short in a five-round bid for Bellator’s interim bantamweight title against Joe Warren. Former UFC lightweight Emerson made his 135-pound debut in April, taking a unanimous decision against Joe Taimanglo at Bellator 116.

Headlining the four-fight Bellator 127 main card is a featherweight duel between former champion Daniel Straus and ex-Strikeforce talent Justin Wilcox. Also featured on the Spike TV broadcast will be a welterweight bout featuring Marius Zaromskis and Karo Parisyan, and a middleweight feature between Christian M’Pumbu and Kendall Grove.

The show’s undercard includes the likes of Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, who takes on Malik Merad at light heavyweight, and wrestling standout Shawn Bunch, who will meet a bantamweight opponent to be announced.
