Bellator 145 Weigh-in Results: Title Fight Participants Now on Target

Bellator MMA featherweight champion Patricio Freire has been down this road before with Daniel Straus and twice emerged as the better man.

Freire clocked in at 144.4 pounds ahead of his five-round title defense against Straus (144.4) in the Bellator 145 “Vengeance” main event on Friday at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. Lightweight champion Will Brooks (*154.8) needed two attempts to meet his contractual agreement with challenger Marcin Held (154.8). He successfully made weight after failing by .9 pounds on his first try.

Bellator 145 -- which airs live on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT -- will also feature a featherweight clash pairing Roufusport’s Emmanuel Sanchez (*145.6) with Justin Lawrence (146), a lightweight rematch pitting Alliance MMA rep Michael Chandler (155.75) against David Rickels (155.75) and a heavyweight scrap matching Bobby Lashley (239.5) with Pride Fighting Championships alum James Thompson (264).

The undercard will stream live and free on at 6:45 p.m. ET/8:45 p.m. PT:
