Bellator 152 Weigh-in Results: Clear Sailing for Patricky Freire, Edimilson Souza in Italy

Patricky Freire and Edimilson Souza have been chosen to bear the Bellator MMA torch, as the company ventures into the European market for the first time.

Freire checked in at 155.2 pounds in preparation for his three-round showdown with Souza (155.2) in the Bellator 152 main event on Saturday at Pala Alpitour in Torino, Italy. Light heavyweight co-headliners Alessio Sakara (203.9) and Brian Rogers (205.3) also hit their intended marks at Friday’s official weigh-in.

Bellator 152 -- which airs on Spike TV via tape delay at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT -- will also feature a women’s flyweight clash pitting Anastasia Yankova (130) against Anjela Pink (129.3) and a pair of featherweight battles, as A.J. McKee (145.5) meets Danilo Belluardo (145.4) and Daniele Miceli (167.5) faces Daniele Scatizzi (168).

In addition, the event will serve as the staging point for the debut of Bellator’s kickboxing branch.
