Freire defeated Henderson via split decision at the SAP Center in San Jose, California as part of a five-bout main card that aired on Spike. The lightweight main event averaged 822,000 viewers (DVR +3) overall for the five-round fight.

The evening’s main draw, which averaged 622,000 viewers (DVR +3), featured a mix of familiar faces and prospects. Paul Daley scored a knockout victory over UFC signee Lorenz Larkin in the co-main event, while longtime fan favorite and Octagon staple Roy Nelson earned a unanimous verdict over Javy Ayala in his promotional debut. Elsewhere, prospects Aaron Pico and Goiti Yamauchi secured first round stoppages earlier on the card.

Bellator 183 surpassed Friday’s UFC Fight Night card in Japan, which drew 502,000 viewers to FXX for the main draw and 416,000 viewers for the prelims. However, the UFC ratings do not include (DVR +3) figures.
