Bellator ‘British Invasion’ Lineup Set with 12 Fights, UFC Vet Tamdan McCrory on Prelims

Bellator MMA has rounded out its “British Invasion” card with the addition of seven preliminary bouts.

Promotion officials revealed the fights via press release on Thursday. The card takes place Feb. 27 from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasv ille, Conn., and is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight pitting Emanuel Newton against the undefeated Liam McGeary.

The preliminary bouts will stream live via, while the main card will air live on Spike TV.

In middleweight action, Jason Butcher will compete against Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Tamdan McCrory.

In addition, a heavyweight pairing between Raphael Butler and Josh Diekmann was announced, while welterweights Jesse Juarez and Brennan Ward will also tangle. Bobby Flynn will fight the undefeated Neiman Gracie, Marvin Maldonado is slated to face Blair Tugman and bantamweights Randy Costa and Carlos Hernandez will do battle.

In the evening’s “dark bout,” Matt Bessette will face Josh LaBerge at 145 pounds.

The card is the second event the Scott Coker-led promotion will hold during the month of February. Bellator 133 takes place next Friday from Fresno, Calif.
