Bellator MMA on Wednesday announced three new additions to its roster.
Heavyweight striker Peter Graham, surging light heavyweight Linton Vassell (Pictured) and British welterweight titlist Gavin Sterritt have joined the promotion’s ranks and will compete during Bellator’s upcoming ninth season, according to a press release.
Graham, 38, has experienced a late-career resurgence in the past three years, racking up an eight-fight win streak in Russia and his native Australia. The former kickboxing champion famously stopped Aleksander Emelianenko on leg kicks in 2010 and most recently stopped Russian Salimgirey Rasulov in June.
The 205-pound champion of Ultimate Challenge MMA, 30-year-old Vassell rides a six-fight win streak. “The Swarm” will make his Bellator debut against an as-yet-unnamed opponent at Bellator 106 on Nov. 8 in Thackerville, Okla.
Once-beaten submission specialist Sterritt holds the welterweight titles of multiple English promotions. He is set to square off against unbeaten Andy Murad at Bellator 99 on Sept. 13 in Temecula, Calif.
