It appears as though Brent Primus and Michael Chandler are finally on the verge of squaring off again in the Bellator MMA cage.

“[Michael Chandler] sign the contact b---h! Sick of waiting” Primus wrote. “You can fight [Eddie Alvarez] or whoever after I’m done with you.”
@MikeChandlerMMA sign the contract bitch! Sick of waiting! You can fight @Ealvarezfight or who ever after I'm done with you @BellatorMMA @IridiumSports @arielhelwani

Primus claimed lightweight gold in surprising fashion at Bellator 180 in June 2017, when Chandler suffered a left ankle injury and was ruled unable to continue 2:22 into the opening stanza. The two fighters were booked for a rematch at Bellator 197 in April, but Primus had to withdraw due to a knee injury.
While Primus has not fought since becoming lightweight champion, Chandler has earned back-to-back triumphs over Goiti Yamauchi and Brandon Girtz. The former University of Missouri wrestling standout inked a new multi-fight contract with the California-based promotion last month.
According to a report from MMAjunkie.com, Bellator is targeting Dec. 14 for the Primus-Chandler rematch. Nothing has been officially announced as of yet, however.
