Bellator MMA ‘Dynamite’ Gets Glory Featherweight Championship Bout

A third title fight has been added to Bellator MMA "Dynamite.”
The promotion announced late Friday evening that Gabriel Varga will defend his Glory featherweight crown against Serhiy Adamchuck on Sept. 19. Bellator MMA “Dynamite” takes place on Sept. 19 at the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., and is headlined by a light heavyweight title clash between Liam McGeary and Tito Ortiz. The card will also include a matchup between Zack Mwekassa and Saulo Cavalari for the vacant Glory light heavyweight strap.
Bellator “Dynamite” airs on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT and will feature both a Bellator MMA cage and a Glory kickboxing ring on the arena floor at the same time.
Varga defeated Mosab Amrani at Glory 20 on April 3 to capture the promotion’s vacant featherweight title. The Canadian champion is 26-2 with eight knockout victories to his credit. Adamchuck earned his championship opportunity by dispatching short-notice foe Marat Grigorian at Glory 22 on June 5. The Ukrainian fighter is 29-5 with 14 knockouts as a professional.
