The promotion recently announced the welterweight pairing. Additionally, three other bouts were confirmed for the May 5 card: Kyle Stewart vs. Maycon Mendonca; Bruno Silva vs. Casey Kenney and David Nuzzo vs. Sean O’Malley. LFA 11 takes place at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix and is headlined by a middleweight duel between Matthew Frincu and Daniel Madrid. The card will be televised on AXS-TV.

Burley is perhaps best known for upsetting Bubba Jenkins at Bellator 100 in September 2013. The 32-year-old Power MMA Team representative began his pro career with six straight victories but would drop back-to-back fights to Ramil Mustapaev and Brian Foster under the World Series of Fighting banner in his next two outings.

A former collegiate wrestler at the University of Nebraska, Nakashima is unbeaten in six outings, with five of this triumphs coming under the Resurrection Fighting Allliance banner. Nakashima last appeared at RFA 46 on Dec. 9, where he earned a three-round verdict against Desmond Hill.
