Benson Henderson will move up to welterweight when he replaces an injured Stephen Thompson against Brandon Thatch in the UFC Fight Night main event on Feb. 14.

Ultimate Fighting Championship announced the bout during the UFC 183 post-fight show on Fox Sports 1 on Saturday. The event will take place at 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colo. and also features Cole Miller against Max Holloway.

Jorge Masvidal, who was supposed to face “Smooth” at UFC Fight Night “Mendes vs. Lamas,” will now receive a new opponent.

Henderson, 31, is currently engrossed in a two-fight losing streak after dropping a unanimous decision to Donald Cerrone at UFC Fight Night “McGregor vs. Siver.” Prior to the defeat, the former UFC champion suffered a first-round knockout loss to Rafael dos Anjos in August.

Thatch, 29, impressed in his first two outings inside the Octagon, defeating both Justin Edwards and Paulo Thiago with knees in the first-round. A veteran of Resurrection Fighting Alliance, “Rukus” has not tasted defeat since a lone appearance for Strikeforce in 2008, dropping a split decision to Brandon Magana.
