Jorge Masvidal, who was supposed to face “Smooth” at UFC Fight Night “Mendes vs. Lamas,” will now receive a new opponent.

Henderson, 31, is currently engrossed in a two-fight losing streak after dropping a unanimous decision to Donald Cerrone at UFC Fight Night “McGregor vs. Siver.” Prior to the defeat, the former UFC champion suffered a first-round knockout loss to Rafael dos Anjos in August.

Thatch, 29, impressed in his first two outings inside the Octagon, defeating both Justin Edwards and Paulo Thiago with knees in the first-round. A veteran of Resurrection Fighting Alliance, “Rukus” has not tasted defeat since a lone appearance for Strikeforce in 2008, dropping a split decision to Brandon Magana.
