Bisping, Mayhem, Finalists Hit Marks for ‘TUF 14’ Finale
For months, Michael Bisping and Jason “Mayhem” Miller were the men behind the curtains, unable to unleash their pent-up frustration and aggression upon one another. Now, their turn comes.

Anchored at the Wolfslair Academy, Bisping will carry a three-fight winning streak into the match. The 32-year-old last appeared at UFC 127 in February, when he stopped Jorge Rivera on second-round punches at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia. Winner of “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 3, Bisping has secured 17 of his 21 professional victories by knockout, technical knockout or submission. He has been finished only once -- his ill-fated encounter with Dan Henderson’s right hand left him unconscious at UFC 100 -- and has never been submitted. Wins over former International Fight League champion Dan Miller, 2006 K-1 Hero’s light heavyweight grand prix winner Yoshihiro Akiyama and 2006 Pride Fighting Championships welterweight grand prix finalist Denis Kang bolster his resume.
Miller, on a two-fight winning streak, has not fought since Dream
16 in September 2010, when he submitted Japanese icon Kazushi
Sakuraba with a first-round arm-triangle choke at Nippon Gaishi
Hall in Nagoya, Japan. A potent grappler, he has delivered more
than half (14) of his 23 career victories by submission. The
30-year-old Miller has not set foot inside the Octagon since his
promotional debut ended in a decision defeat to reigning
welterweight champion Georges
St. Pierre at UFC 52 in April 2005.
“The Ultimate Fighter 14” Finale -- which airs on Spike TV at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT -- also features a lightweight duel pitting Season 13 winner Tony Ferguson (155.5) against American Top Team’s Yves Edwards (155) and a bantamweight tilt pairing Louis Gaudinot (136) with Johnny Bedford (136).
