Bouts Added to UFC 122
Friday, September 10, 2010
The UFC has put the finishing touches on its Nov. 13 event, scheduled for the König-Pilsener-Arena in Oberhausen, Germany. After officially announcing the second show on German soil would be headlined by a title eliminator between former light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort and Yushin Okami, the promotion booked a duo of welterweight bouts to round out the 11-fight card.

Making their respective debuts will be German standout Pascal Krauss and Central Illinois Combat Club product Kenny Robertson. Both fighters are undefeated in their respective professional careers and come from a grappling background. Cage Warriors welterweight champion Krauss was signed in August to take the promotion’s German contingent to three. Robertson, a training partner of former Bodog Fight champion Nick Thompson, recently defeated “The Ultimate Fighter 6” cast member John Kolosci under the Bellator banner.

In the second 170-pound tilt, the runner-up of the most recent TUF season, Kris McCray, returns from his defeat at the hands of Court McGee to take on Zuffa’s latest Brazilian import Carlos Eduardo Rocha. The 29-year-old Darcio Lira black belt has been a regular feature on the German domestic scene for the past three years and sports a perfect record of 8-0 with seven of his wins coming by way of submission. Both McCray and Rocha will drop down from middleweight to make their debuts inside the Octagon.
