Bovada Releases Odds on Rumored UFC Sale

The biggest story in the MMA world this week has been whether or not Zuffa will sell the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

ESPN.com first reported the news on Tuesday and it has been a hot topic ever since. UFC President Dana White denied the report, but did reveal that the company has been in discussion regarding expanding its product in Asia, most notably China and Japan.

Now there are official odds on the proposed sale. According to Bovada, one of the largest online gambling sites, the over/under price for the sale of the UFC is set at $3.99 billion. For any wagers to be won, the sale of the UFC must be completed in 2016.

Also, the odds on whether Zuffa will indeed sell the UFC are close. The “yes” is the underdog at +150 while the “no” side of the wager is a slight favorite at -200. None of the major sportsbooks around Las Vegas have any odds on the matter posted.
