Boxing: Austin Trout, Joey Hernandez on Point for PBC on Fox Sports 1 Debut

Tuesday’s Premier Boxing Champions clash of southpaws on the inaugural PBC on Fox Sports 1 bill is now official.

Austin Trout (29-2) and Joey Hernandez (24-3-1) successfully hit their marks inside of Los Angeles’ Crowne Plaza LAX Monday afternoon, putting the stamp on Tuesday’s debut effort for the boxing giant and rebranded sports network.

Trout, 29, of Las Cruces, N.M., registered an official weight of 156. Joey Hernandez, 30, of Miami, Fla., also hit 156.

On the event’s co-feature, Jorge Lara (27-0) from Guadalajara, Mexico, came in at 123, while Puerto Rico’s Jesus Rojas (21-1, 15 KOs) nailed 122.8.
