Boxing: PBC Plans Major Event for Dec. 12, Adds Lubin-Camacho to Nov. 28 Card
Premier Boxing Champions is currently working on what would be a major event for Dec. 12 at AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas, according to multiple reports published Wednesday.
The event, which will be televised by NBC, is rumored to be anchored by the rescheduled showdown between Omar Figueroa (25-0-1, 18 KOs) and Antonio DeMarco (35-5-1, 23 KOs). The matchup was originally slated for September before Figueroa pulled out with an injury.

Officials from PBC have not responded to inquiries as of this writing, though the promoter today offically announced another bout for the Nov. 28 edition of PBC on NBC.
Headlined by Jermall Charlo defending his junior middleweight title against Wilky Campfort, the card will also feature unbeaten 154-pound prospect Erickson Lubin taking on the stiffest challenge of his young career in a 10-round affair with veteran Alexis Camacho.
The fight will be part of a three-bout televised card which begins at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.
Lubin (12-0, 9 KOs) is coming off a sixth-round stoppage of Orlando Lora in September. Before that, Lubin slaughtered Ayi Bruce and Kenneth Council, both in the first round.
Camacho (21-5, 19 KOs) is coming off two straight wins after dropping two in a row. Camacho last fought in July where he edged gritty Alan Casillas over 10 rounds.
