The UFC’s Feb. 27 card in London is beginning to take shape, as the Las Vegas-based promotion recently announced three new additions to the upcoming UFC Fight Night card.
Brad Pickett will face Enrique Briones in a bantamweight tilt, while Davey Grant meets Marlon Vera at 135 pounds and Arnold Allen takes on Yaotzin Meza at featherweight.
UFC Fight Night takes place at O2 Arena and features a middleweight showdown pitting Michael Bisping against Gegard Mousasi. No main event has been announced for the card.
A London native, Pickett has lost his last three bouts, including a second-round knockout against Thomas Almeida in his most recent outing at UFC 189. Briones is 1-1 in the Octagon, with a submission win over Guido Cannetti and a decision loss to Cody Garbrandt in his two promotional appearances.
Grant has been out of action since his Octagon debut at “The Ultimate Fighter 18” finale in November 2013, when he was submitted in the second round by Chris Holdsworth. Vera, meanwhile, earned his first UFC triumph in August, as he tapped Roman Salazar with a second-round triangle armbar.
Allen improved to 10-1 by choking out Alan Omer in his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night in Berlin this past June. Meza has lost two of his last three UFC bouts, including a three-round setback against Sam Sicilia on July 15.
