The Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion will compete at Legacy Fighting Championship 61 at the Bomb Factory in Dallas on Oct. 14. No opponent has been revealed for the event. The Texas-based promotion confirmed the news Wednesday shortly after Dern announced her sophomore MMA appearance on Facebook.

The event will be televised on AXS-TV beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. More bouts for the card will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Dern made her professional debut on July 22, when she took a dominant unanimous verdict over Kenia Rosas at Legacy FC 58. The 2015 ADCC Submission Wrestling World Champion threatened her foe with multiple submissions in the opening stanza and controlled the final two frames from top position, often moving to full mount with ease.

A black belt under her father, Wellington “Megaton” Dias, Dern current trains at the MMA Lab in Arizona. During a recent appearance on "The MMA Hour,” training partner and former UFC champ Benson Henderson claimed that Dern would eventually “be bigger than Ronda Rousey” before the Olympic judoka was upset by Holly Holm last November.
