Broadcast Duties Announced for Mike Goldberg, Mauro Ranallo Ahead of Bellator 180 in NYC

Bellator MMA has set its broadcast line-ups set for Saturday evening at Madison Square Garden.

Last week, Bellator announced the signing of long-time Ultimate Fighting Championship play-by-play voice Mike Goldberg, as well as former Pride Fighting Championships, Strikeforce and World Wrestling Entertainment stickman Mauro Ranallo. On Monday, the promotion revealed the particular formation of its commentary teams for Bellator 180, which takes place June 24 inside the hallowed halls of New York City's MSG.

The pay-per-view broadcast of Bellator 180, headlined by the controversial light heavyweight showdown between Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen, will feature Ranallo on play-by-play duty, calling the fights alongside color commentator Jimmy Smith, while Goldberg anchors the discussion desk for PPV proceedings. For the Spike-televised undercard, main evented by Bellator 205-pound champ Phil Davis' title rematch with Ryan Bader, Goldberg will be on the lead call along with Smith, while Ranallo leads the desk.

Goldberg and Smith will call the event's televised undercard, which streams live on Spike.com.

Jenn Brown is penciled in to host Bellator 180's live pre-show broadcast on Spike, where she will be joined by MMA veterans Brendan Schaub and Josh Thomson. Schaub and Thomson will join the desk with Ranallo later during the Spike broadcast.
