Bronchitis Forces Aldana Out of Invicta FC 10; Fight with Reneau to Take Place in 2015

A bout with bronchitis has forced Irene Aldana out of her scheduled Invicta Fighting Championships 10 matchup against Marion Reneau.
According to a release, Aldana was hospitalized due to the illness. The promotion recently announced that the bout will be rescheduled sometime in 2015.

Aldana made her Invicta FC debut on Sept. 6, submitting “The Ultimate Fighter 18” veteran Peggy Morgan with a rear-naked choke 2:50 into the opening frame. The 26-year-old Mexican prospect is 4-1 overall, including three victories by knockout.
Reneau, meanwhile, last appeared at Resurrection Fighting Alliance 16, submitting Maureen Riordon with an armbar in the first frame.
