Bruce Buffer’s New MMA Social Game Now Recruiting Beta Testers

Bruce Buffer, known internationally as the “Voice of MMA” for the past 18 years, is recruiting a few dedicated beta testers for his new social/casual game, “MMA Federation -- digital fighters & real rewards,” a game based on the world of mixed martial arts, set to launch in 2014.

For the next few days only, fans can get game access up to three months ahead of the public, and an exclusive taste of what is to come with in-game rewards: cool swag, including signed MMA memorabilia, tickets, T-shirts and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. To entice beta testers to provide feedback, you get 100 percent of any funds pledged back in the form of in-game currency and access to exclusive backer forums, and backer only tournaments and content.

Mr. Buffer has teamed up with veteran game developers to form Mixed Martial Mobile Ltd., with many team members having been involved with top gaming enterprises like EA, Disney, Sega, Sony Computer Entertainment, amongst others.

In MMA Federation, gamers become a professional fighter and join a virtual team, directly linked to a real MMA team -- like American Top Team, AMA Fight Club, Tristar in Canada, and Team Nogueira and Nova Unia in Brazil. They build their virtual fighter’s MMA skills, challenge other players across the world, face challenges, and win fights -- all to achieve ‘points.’ Those ‘points’ unlock Real Rewards in the physical world -- like signed memorabilia, VIP tickets to top live MMA events, and even once-in-a-lifetime experiences -- like entering a full arena, broadcast live around the world, alongside you’re favorite MMA Fighter and team for the walkout -- their grand entrance, to the applause of thousands in the arena. And they provide the ‘walk out shirts’ so you fit right in with the team!

“I have done voice over work and been involved in some of the most successful fighting video console games of all time such as Ready 2 Rumble Boxing, which I developed with Midway in 1999 and was a huge hit with gamers internationally,” says Bruce Buffer. “But this time I wanted creative control to really take fan-participation to a new level in a way that hasn’t been done before in the arena of social/casual games. Built BY MMA fans, FOR MMA fans, this is an open invitation to join our campaign. And we are adding new teams all the time, so watch this space.”

With only three days left to join, MMA Federation is recruiting a few fans as game Beta Testers through a Kickstarter campaign, months ahead of the public launch, which has already reached its financial goal days before the campaign ends.

A $10 pledge, gets you full game access three months ahead of the general public and access to exclusive company developer forums and in game tournaments. The $10 pledge is to help make sure they get real fans as potential beta tester; they want players who will provide feedback to the developers so 100 percent of funds pledged are given back to the pledger in the form of in-game currency to help progress your fighter and unlock cool real swag.

In a video on the MMA Federation website & Kickstarter campaign site, Bruce Buffer himself explains gameplay and prizes in more detail. And at the very end, in his trade mark charismatic and energetic style, lets everyone know, ‘It’s time! ... for you to join the fight!”
