American heavyweights Paul Buentello and Eric Prindle will square off in Abu Dhabi tomorrow after both men hit the scale at Monday’s official weigh-in for Abu Dhabi Warriors 4.
Buentello enters the 51st bout of his professional career looking to build off an October knockout of Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou at Abu Dhabi Warriors 3. Prindle has won three in a row, including a pair under the Pancrase bannner, and last saw action in a March submission victory over Maurice Jackson.
Buentello and Prindle are not the only big-show veterans on the card, as former Bellator lightweight contender Alexander Sarnavskiy (155) will take on well-traveled Brazilian veteran Jorge Patino (154) in the evening’s co-main event. Ex-Bellator fighter Akop Stepanyan (160) faces onetime UFC competitor Will Chope (158) in a catch-weight contest, while at light heavyweight, Californian Anthony Ruiz (206) tangles with Denmark’s Joachim Christensen (205).
