The accolades continue to pour in for UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.
“No athlete is the best in their sport by a wider margin than Rousey,” reads the Business Insider blurb on the former Strikeforce champ. “Her two wins in the past year have lasted an average of 15 seconds. The UFC made her its first female fighter ever. In her five UFC fights, only one opponent has made it out of the first round without getting knocked out of submission. She's not just undefeated; she's effectively untouched.”
Rousey, who is 11-0 in professional MMA, will next defend her 135-pound belt against Bethe Correia at UFC 190 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro on Aug. 1.
Meanwhile, former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones checks in at No. 18 on the list. The New York native was suspended indefinitely after being arrested in connection with a felony hit-and-run in Albuquerque, N.M., last month.
“The only thing that can stop Jon Jones is himself,” writes Business Insider.
