New England-based CES MMA will return to Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn., on Sep. 23 and the card will be headlined by a pair of Ultimate Fighting Championship veterans looking to get back to the big time.

Sean Soriano will oppose fellow featherweight Levan Makashvili over three rounds, with each man in desperate need of a win. Soriano kicked off his mixed martial arts career with an 8-0 record but he went winless in three fights inside the Octagon before being released. Now after going 1-1 under the Legacy Fighting Championship banner, Soriano needs to win against Makashvili, who went 1-1-1 in his UFC career. He’s coming off a win at CES MMA 36 a few months back.

The promotion also announced on Wednesday that Calvin Kattar will take on Chris Foster, also at featherweight, and flyweights Carlos Candelario and Brandon Warne will lock horns. CES MMA 38 will be televised live on AXS TV starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Additional bouts will be announced soon.
