CSAC Clears Lesnar for MMA Debut
Brock Lesnar (Pictures), the 2000 NCAA wrestling champion
at heavyweight for the University of Minnesota who made a name for
himself pro wrestling in the WWE, has been cleared by the
California State Athletic Commission to make his professional mixed
martial arts debut June 2 in Los Angeles, the CSAC announced
Tuesday.
Lesnar is slate to face seven-foot-two South Korean Hong-Man Choi in the main event of K-1 "Dynamite!!" live from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on SHOWTIME pay-per-view.
