Veteran mixed martial artist Dennis Hallman (Pictures) tested positive for two types of anabolic steroids following a Nov. 16 submission win in San Jose, the California State Athletic Commission announced Thursday.

Hallman, who was suspended from the date of his fight through Oct. 8, 2008 (the remainder of his licensing year) along with an additional 38 days, joins Alexander Crispin as the second fighter on the Strikeforce card to test positive for anabolic agents.

Hallman (drostanolone and nandrolone) and Crispin (desoxymethyltestosterone) were fined $2,500 each and became the 40th and 41st mixed martial artists to test positive for drugs in California since March 31. Crispin was suspended until March 29, 2008 and must serve an additional 231 days when he renews his license.
