Cage Rage: Sapp Out, Tank In
Expected to headline Cage Rage's latest date April 21 in London,
Bob Sapp (Pictures) has withdrawn from his fight
versus Gary Turner
(Pictures) due to personal reasons
that likely would have kept him out of the UK before fight night,
the promotion announced on its Web site Thursday.
On short notice, Cage Rage has secured the services of veteran brawler David "Tank" Abbott to fight Turner, a K-1 veteran.
"Never known as a man to let down the MMA faithful, Tank was only too happy to step off his bar stool, step onto an aircraft and step into the cage!!! We expect him to arrive at the Wembley Plaza tonight," Cage Rage said via its Web site.
