Monday, CWFC announced that the promotion will stage Cage Warriors 81 at the 3Arena in Dublin on March 4. The event will stream live on UFC Fight Pass.

In the card's headliner, 7-1 Northern Irish prospect Karl Moore will face a yet-to-be-named opponent for the vacant CWFC light heavyweight title. The promotion has not had a 205-pound champion since current Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight king Michael Bisping departed the promotion in late 2005.

“I’m both proud and excited to be heading back to Ireland for Cage Warriors 81,” said Graham Boylan, CWFC's president. “As a proud Irishman myself, I’ve always been committed to the growth of mixed martial arts in Ireland, and CW 81 represents the latest opportunity for Irish MMA to shine on the big stage.”

The promotion last ran in Ireland with Cage Warriors 70 in August 2014 at The Helix in Dublin, with current UFC lightweight Joseph Duffy choking out Damien Lapilus in the main event.

In undercard action, 3-0 Northern Irish lightweight Joe McColgan will compete against an opponent to be determined, and Ireland's Lloyd Manning faces Scottish featherweight Paul McBain.
