Gina Carano and Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos put past weigh-in issues to bed on Friday in San Jose, making official their tilt for the vacant Strikeforce 145-pound female crown.

Carano looked a lean 143, while her foil “Cyborg” registered just under the limit at 144.5.

Jesse Taylor (172) was the only combatant to miss weight. On his second attempt, Taylor qualified for Saturday's bout with Jay Hieron with a weight of 169.5.
