Chad Curry vs. Nick Barnes to Headline LFA 20 in Minnesota on Aug. 25

Barnes will serve as the main event for Legacy Fighting
Alliance 20 on Aug. 25.
The promotion on Tuesday announced the pairing along with six other contests: Bobby Moffett vs. Nate Jennerman at featherweight; Kelly Kobold vs. Christine Stanley at flyweight; Travis Perzynksi vs. Carl Wittstock at lightweight; Bobby Lee vs. Ashkan Morvari at lightweight; Jeff Peterson vs. Brandon Jenkins at lightweight and Mitch White vs. Jesse Wannemacher at bantamweight. The main card will be televised on AXS-TV at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
A native of Rochester, Minn., Curry is 9-1 as a professional. He last appeared at LFA 12 on May 19, when he stopped Kyle Kurtz in 59 seconds. Curry has finished all nine of his wins by knockout, technical knockout or submission.
Barnes, meanwhile, is coming off a first-round submission of Brian Camozzi at Resurrection Fighting Alliance 43 on Sept. 9. The San Diego native is 11-2 as a professional overall, with three wins by KO/TKO and six via submission.
