Anthony Pettis is the betting favorite over Rafael dos Anjos nearly two months ahead of their lightweight title clash at UFC 185 “Pettis vs. dos Anjos.”
Multiple bookmakers have released their opening lines for the main event between Pettis and dos Anjos, and all have listed challenger dos Anjos as the underdog. The championship fight will headline the promotion’s pay-per-view card March 14 in Dallas.
According to BestFightOdds.com, brokers 5Dimes and Bovada currently list Pettis as the favorite at -420 and -400, respectively. On the opposite end, dos Anjos is getting play at +335 and +300.
In layman’s terms, a bet of $315 on Pettis would net you an additional $100 (plus your investment), while a $100 wager on the challenger would earn a profit of $335 or $300.
These lines are subject to change and will fluctuate as more information regarding the bout becomes available. For those looking to cash in on the three-fight winning streak dos Anjos is riding, it seems as if the odds will be quite similar as they were heading into his bout against Benson Henderson at UFC Fight Night “Henderson vs. dos Anjos.”
