Once-beaten American Top Team product Charles Rosa will meet “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America” featherweight winner Yair Rodriguez on June 13 in Mexico City.
Rosa suffered his first professional loss in a short-notice UFC debut when he was outpointed by Octagon veteran Dennis Siver. In January, the Massachusetts native rebounded by submitting fellow New Englander Sean Soriano with a third-round brabo choke in front of a hometown crowd.
Despite owning a taekwondo black belt, Rodriguez made his way througth “TUF: Latin America” by winning with submissions. “Pantera” tapped Humberto Brown Morrison and Rodolfo Rubio Perez in exhibition bouts before taking a unanimous decision over Leonardo Morales in the tournament final at UFC 180.
