Promotion officials announced the welterweight pairing on Wednesday. UFC Fight Night 113 takes place at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland, with the evening’s main card airing on Fox Sports 1. A headliner for the event has not been revealed.
Ward made his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 99 on Nov. 19, when he was knocked out in 53 seconds by Abdul Razak Alhassan. That defeat ended a three-bout winning streak for the SBG Ireland representative.
Bofando, meanwhile, enters his first UFC foray with a 4-2 career mark. The Englishman has competed exclusively under the Ultimate Challenge MMA banner, and both of his defeats came as the result of disqualification due to illegal knees.
